Learning Outcomes

Construct an ethical framework –  Model principled, effective business decisions by analyzing the implications of management’s actions in a variety of integrated situations for each stakeholder.

Appraise the macroeconomic business climate – Interpret the effects of the macroeconomic environment on investment decisions, including product expansion, R&D activities, and human resource development.

Deploy financial tools – Utilize financial tools such as internal rate of return (IRR), net present value (NPV), and the capital asset pricing model (CAPM) to critically evaluate corporate finance decisions and strategies.

Design a strategic marketing plan – Create a marketing plan for an organization based on a comprehensive assessment of potential markets and competitors for a given product or service.

Synthesize accounting and financial transactions – Compile an organization’s accounting and financial transactions into relevant managerial reports, using ratio analysis to evaluate the financial position and inform decision-making.

Formulate a global business perspective – Develop an understanding of corporate governance, international collaboration, and global operations from a global business perspective.

Analyze the business environment – Use SWOT and VRIO models to identify opportunities and formulate effective strategies that achieve a competitive advantage.

  • A bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university
  • Official transcripts
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. GPA’s of 2.5-2.99 will be considered with two letters of recommendation (academic and professional)
  • Resume reflecting at least 3-5 years of professional work experience
  • GMAT or GRE not required but encouraged to strengthen you application (scores < 5 years)
  • Completed Graduate Application
  • Essay: Tell us about your path to business school, (including your work history) and your future plans. How will the Jessup University experience help you along this journey? What is your motivation for pursuing an MBA now, and how will Jessup University help you achieve your goals? (approx. 500 words)
  • Letter of recommendation only if requested by the admissions committee (GPA’s less than 3.00)
