Bio

Mr. Richard Yang is an entrepreneur and real estate developer whose company, InnoSia Group, is engaged in residential and resort development in Malaysia, Singapore and in the U.S. Among its projects are hi-rise condominiums, single-family tract and custom homes, golf courses and resorts.

Richard has wide-ranging interests besides real estate, which led to him founding WorldStocks.com in 2000. At the time, it was the first online stock trading company that allowed trading of equities in multiple stock markets around the world. WorldStocks.com, a member of the Australian Stock Exchange, was incorporated in Australia and Malaysia and later merged and acquired into a Malaysian governmental entity. Richard is also a sought-after keynote speaker and has made guest appearances on cable TV (CNN’s Squawk Box, etc.) as well as on radio shows.

Richard has a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from SUNY Buffalo, a GLB (JD) from the National University of Singapore, and an MBA from Columbia University. He also completed the Advanced Management Program (AMP) from Harvard University. Prior to relocating to Asia, Richard worked as an Investment Banker, Management Consultant, and in the public sector. He has advised and consulted Fortune 500 companies such as Jockey International, Pan American Airways, International Paper, and L.L. Bean as well as a consultant to several emergents, soon-to-be privatized Russian companies. In Asia, Richard has served as Director/Executive Director of several regional Asian companies.
