Library staff recommends using electronic resources for the Fall Semester.

Physical materials are available, but all books that are checked out are subject to a 72-hour quarantine upon return. In order to keep the material available, please consider making a copy of the section you need for your research.

Copyright law allows library patrons to make copies (scanned or photographed) of a reasonable amount of material for research purposes. For more information on copyright, check out this guide put together by the University of Minnesota libraries.

For student research purposes, reasonable amounts would include the section of a commentary related to the passage you are researching, or a book chapter related to your topic. Please see the library staff if you need assistance with using the copier.
