Staff Positions

The Office of the Registrar is responsible for effectively managing the maintenance and integrity of student academic records, the approved curriculum, the creation and maintenance of course schedules, all areas of student registration and the recording and reporting of grades, compliance with FERPA regulations, and the establishment and maintenance of processes for the equitable and consistent administration of policies and procedures as they relate to registration and academic record keeping.

Under the direction of the Assistant Registrar, the Degree Audit Specialist is an administrative support position that evaluates incoming student records for transfer, maintains continuing degree audits, and assists with degree completion verification. Coordinates or performs special functions associated with an academic office, such as assisting with form processing and maintaining academic records. This position can be up to 50% remote.

The Enrollment Engagement Assistant serves our university with customer excellence while supporting the Enrollment Department. The representative assists in the daily operation of the Enrollment office by supporting the execution of enrollment events and campus visits. This position also ensures that all visitors are greeted in an expeditious and friendly manner. The assistant assists in daily tasks relating to the Enrollment department as needed.

Normal working hours average 29 hours per week with a schedule established M-F between the hours of 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. This is a fully on site position, with some remote work available.

Provide assistance, counseling, and support to students and families in the process of applying for, determining eligibility for, and retaining financial aid, as well as maintaining necessary processing functions and reporting.

This position will be 100% on campus during the training period. After the training period, this position will be at least 60% on campus.

The Human Resources Generalist works collaboratively to provide strong support as an HR partner. This is a hands-on position that performs a wide variety of HR-related functions, including benefits administration, recruitment support, employee relations, leaves of absence coordination, employee communications, audits, and special projects. The HR Generalist helps ensure that the University’s practices and procedures are sound and in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, industry practices and internal guidelines.

This position can be full time on-campus or hybrid with a minimum of 3 days on-campus.

The Maintenance Technician I is an entry-level position in the Facilities Department with duties of maintenance, service, and repairs in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, machine servicing, electrical, and vehicle servicing. The Maintenance Tech I will execute work orders and complete general facilities cleaning and maintenance.

Under the direction of the Assistant Director of Enrollment Marketing & Communication, and in partnership with the rest of the Enrollment Marketing team, the Communication Specialist plans, coordinates and implements a comprehensive communication strategy for prospective students and their families with the goal of supporting admissions enrollment goals. Utilizes a marketing automation platform to manage targeted emails and texts and personalized nurturing campaigns. Coordinates with the Marketing department to produce high-quality enrollment marketing assets including social media, print, digital and web. Effectively executes enrollment strategies to ensure prospective students see themselves reflected in communications and effectively invited to campus.

This is a PT, on campus position, some remote work is available.

The School of Business is seeking a full-time core faculty member for the Bachelor of Accountancy (BAcc), and Bachelor of Business Degree Programs to advance the mission of William Jessup University. The candidate will be involved in the quality preparation and delivery of course material, curriculum development, and program expansion. The candidate must demonstrate proven leadership, and pedagogical expertise. There is also potential for the candidate to become the lead faculty within the BAcc program. This is a tenure track position, beginning with a rank of assistant professor. This position is campus based in Rocklin (100%).

William Jessup University has a new and rapidly growing computer science department. The faculty member will have the opportunity to help shape the curriculum by delivering courses from a wide range of undergraduate computer science topics based on experience and interest. The development of new courses in the candidate’s area of expertise is encouraged. This is a great opportunity for candidates interested in project-based learning, innovative teaching/learning pedagogy, and developing collaborative student/teacher research projects.

This full-time tenure track faculty position is responsible for the overall management of the Program and its faculty, staff and programs as well as oversight of quality preparation, instruction, and learning outcomes related to the Criminal Justice curriculum and degree programs. This is a fully on-campus position.

This is a full-time, tenure-track, faculty position at William Jessup University in the School of Education (SOE). This position requires an instructional leader committed to teaching, serving students and continued learning. Responsible for supporting and creating opportunities for graduate candidates in the SOE to be highly competent and successful in practice and research. Promote and support the mission of the Health Sciences Division of the School of Natural and Applied Sciences for William Jessup University by providing operational leadership with significant relational capabilities to develop, promote, educate, and facilitate an exemplary academic environment.

Under the direction of the Program Director of Nursing, this position is responsible for the implementation of the approved curriculum based on the mission and philosophy of the nursing program and the University. The Lab Coordinator will assist students with the mastery of didactic and clinical learning concepts including patient care simulations. The Lab Coordinator supports and augments the educational process by contributing to the development and continuous improvement of educational curriculum through best practice sharing and regular communications with nursing program leadership. This is a twelve-month, non-tenured clinical faculty contractual position, August – July.

This is a full-time, tenure track, faculty position. The Practicum Coordinator of the M.A. in Counseling Psychology is a position responsible for knowledge and enforcement of all compliance guidelines surrounding practicum regulations for MACP students. The Practicum Coordinator will oversee and manage all student practicum placements, agreements and evaluations. This position may work remote up to 50% of the time.

The Program Director of the Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology is a position responsible for leadership, vision casting, and program development. The person in this role will oversee this new graduate psychology program and will participate in the process of APA accreditation. It will require an entrepreneurial spirit as well as a unique skill set in organization, administration, and human relations.

The Program Director for the Theatre program is a full-time, tenure track faculty position responsible for the overall management of the program and its faculty, staff and programs, as well as recruitment and oversight of quality preparation, instruction, and learning outcomes related to the Theatre curriculum and degree programs.
