William Jessup University seeks a highly motivated individual for the position of Admissions Counselor. The Admissions Counselor is responsible for the recruitment of graduate students through inquiry generation, immediately responding to inquiries within the same business day and using value propositions to convert inquiries into enrolled students. The focus will be for all graduate programs but this position will be cross-trained to support other programs within the department. We seek applicants with a strong background in sales performance and recruiting in higher education. We prefer applicants with strong interpersonal skills, the ability to network with others, and those who possess outstanding communication skills. Normal office hours will be worked on campus between 8 am and 6 pm Monday through Friday, some remote work is available. Some events may be held in the evening or on a weekend.

The purpose of the Assistant Coach – Women’s Softball position is to develop Christ-centered excellence, to mentor and challenge student-athletes to grow spiritually (discipleship), academically, athletically, to provide opportunities for Christian service through the medium of softball and to be consistently competitive at the championship level. This position is responsible for assisting the head coach in initiating, developing and leading all aspects of the Women’s Softball program, such as recruiting, scheduling opponents, individual training, and coaching team members. This position provides support for specific internal operations for the athletic department and must abide by rules and regulations established by William Jessup University, the NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) and the GSAC, (Golden State Athletic Conference).

Under the directives of the Campus Safety Department, the Campus Safety Officer provides for the safety and well-being of students, faculty, staff and property.

Provides the overall vision, leadership and management of the Facilities department while overseeing high quality maintenance for campus facilities, equipment, and property. This position must balance technical maintenance with good people skills. Primary responsibilities include coordinating general site maintenance and building repair operations; processing and scheduling work-orders; supervising and training maintenance personnel; managing outside vendors/contractors; and ensuring compliance to safety standards. This position is on-campus with remote work opportunities with supervisor approval.

The Tech I is responsible for providing Tier 1 technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software. Responds to service requests, isolates problems, determines and implements solutions. This position is responsible for ensuring outstanding customer service by providing direct IT support to students, faculty and staff.

The Maintenance Technician I is an entry-level position in the Facilities Department with duties of maintenance, service, and repairs in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, machine servicing, electrical, and vehicle servicing. The Maintenance Tech I will execute work orders and complete general facilities cleaning and maintenance.

Athletics Positions

The candidate must demonstrate proven leadership, and pedagogical expertise. There is also potential for the candidate to become the lead faculty within the BAcc program. This is a tenure track position, beginning with a rank of assistant professor.

William Jessup University has a new and rapidly growing computer science department.
