Bio

Spencer Mills has been working in healthcare for the past 20 years. He has worked with physicians, medical groups, and hospitals in seven states, serving in roles as CEO, COO, and Executive Director. Spencer earned a bachelor’s degree in history and economics from UC Berkeley and an MBA and MA in Public Policy from Regent University. He was a Jesse Marvin Unruh Assembly Fellow in the California State Legislature, served as a budget analyst in the California Department of Finance, and was the primary fiscal consultant for the Vice Chair of the Appropriations Committee for the California State Senate. He is a Fellow of both the Medical Group Management Association and the American College of Healthcare Executives. Spencer most recently served as President of the Alaska Healthcare Executives Network. He has taught courses at Jessup University, Alaska Pacific University, and Regent University in economics, political economy, business ethics, accounting, and history. He is currently completing a doctoral program in health administration at Central Michigan University. His research interests include employee engagement, healthcare economics, health policy, and leadership.
