ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The Certificate in Biblical Studies and Theology is a program within the existing BA in Theology and BA in Biblical Studies degree programs. After finishing this certificate, students can identify the core elements of the biblical storyline and explain how the individual parts contribute to and develop the storyline, and vice versa. They can also exegete scripture contextually and meaningfully as well as demonstrate the importance and relevance of Christian theology by biblically, creatively, and practically applying doctrine to current cultural and global issues through a gospel worldview. Program Director

Jessup’s Certificate in Bible and Theology helps fill that need by providing students with fundamental biblical and theological knowledge for ministry or personal interest.”
