The federal government requires all Title IV colleges and universities to go through a review process known as verification. This process confirms all information submitted on the FAFSA for accuracy and completeness and confirms the student’s maximum financial aid eligibility.
You may be required to submit the following documents before any Income Adjustment request can be evaluated. If this is required, you will receive notification through your Student Portal or receive an email.

- All student W-2 forms (if you did not file a tax return).
- All parent W-2 forms (if your parent(s) did not file a tax return).
- Use the IRS Data Retrieval Tool on the FAFSA, submit a 2022 IRS Tax Return Transcript, OR a signed 2022 Tax Return for the student.

All signatures must be physical signatures. Please feel free to securely upload these items through your Student Financial Aid Portal or schedule a Financial Aid appointment. We do not need originals. In specific cases, additional information may be required.
