ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The Bachelor of Arts in Digital Communication, Art & Design combines elements of a traditional communication studies degree with digital art and design. Our highly-skilled faculty equip you to craft messages, design artwork, and deliver both effectively by teaching skills that are essential to today’s world. 

When combined, these complementary skills produce graduates that are productive, insightful, and highly employable. It’s a place to learn skills that are indispensable for every organization, business, and ministry and positions you for success in the digital world. Here, you’ll discover the importance of these disciplines in the context of your faith and calling.

  • Articulate how a variety of careers in their field of study, whether religious or secular, should be influenced by a Christian Worldview.

  • Demonstrate proficiency in critical thinking and professional writing/design/production skills, so as to be able to both produce and consume messages critically, including an understanding of how these skills can be effective across cultures.

  • Communicate an understanding of the history and development of media and practices specific to their particular specialization.

  • Critique and create engaging messages on contemporary media platforms, demonstrating the skills necessary for successful employment in the digital/online/mobile world.

  • Collaborate with others, both as leader and participant, to produce work of high quality.
