Biography:

Marilyn is passionate about God’s Word, God’s People, and connecting the two! Marilyn has been in vocational ministry for the past 20+ years. Marilyn was ordained to Word & Sacrament in the Evangelical Covenant Church in 2014. She has been pastoring churches over the last 12 years, including Executive level denominational leadership. Marilyn is a highly relational leader, passionate teacher, and personal mentor & coach. Marilyn loves making subjects, like Church Governance & Polity, come alive in our daily life and call in Christ. She is committed to advancing the Kingdom of God through the development of transformative leaders in and outside of the church. Her dissertation research is focused on church vitality and the ongoing support of women in church leadership. Marilyn counts it a great honor and significant opportunity to serve Christ as an Associate Professor at Jessup!
