LEAD Gathering – Rocklin & Portland

Church & Science: Cultivating Resilient Leaders Together
September 18, 2025 & October 9, 2025

LEAD Gathering(s) Overview: Many pastors are facing a “mental health crisis”. Many manifest “alarming rates of post-traumatic stress disorder level symptoms.” How might science assist pastoral leaders to better understand the impact suffering and trauma have on them and on their congregations mentally and emotionally? And how can they cultivate resilience to address these challenges? Dr. Benjamin Doolittle (MD, MDiv) will draw upon his unique experience as both a scientist and as a pastor to bridge the gap and provide guidance in addressing these questions. Please join Dr. Doolittle, our interdisciplinary panel, and other guests for the LEAD Gathering!
