Call to Action | CA legislature

On Tuesday, June 8, Jessup held a prayer and worship gathering to pray for California legislation. View the recording below and read Dr. Jackson’s initial Call To Action.

Dr. Jackson’s initial Call To Action

I want to CALL YOU TO ACTION. Our California legislature is currently considering some of the most heinous and unjust legislation I have ever seen in my lifetime. While there are many horrible bills pending, we have identified 7 bills (including bills on legalization of psychedelic drugs, prostitution, pimping, euthanasia, etc.). I have been so grieved hearing of these bills, that I want to ask you to JOIN ME IN A SOLEMN ASSEMBLY ON TUESDAY JUNE 8TH FROM 1-3PM AT WILLIAM JESSUP UNIVERSITY IN THE LECTURE HALL. We will gather for prayer and worship; we will hear briefly about these bills and intercede in prayer.

I am asking you for 3 things:

  1. Come to the prayer gathering personally. If you are unable to attend personally, please send someone from your church and/or connect to us online June 8 at 1pm for a livestream: https://jessup.online.church/
  2. Please alert your church family about the bills; we are going to send out a one page flyer with information on the 7 bills after the event.
  3. Please check in to theamericancouncil.org and californiafamily.org for information and supporting documentation.

Thank you in advance for standing for righteousness and biblical justice in our culture. The Church is called to be Salt & Light…and this is our time to shine!

For His Glory,

John Jackson, PhD
President
