David Bills, M.A.Ed.
Biography:
David has lived in Rocklin/Roseville since 1986 when he began teaching at Oakmont High School in Roseville. After serving 18 years as a classroom instructor he moved into administration, first as a high school athletic director and assistant principal, eventually serving as the principal at Rocklin High School. David loved teaching History, Physical Education, and Health and Safety. During his year’s teaching, David also coached high school basketball, baseball, football, and golf. Just prior to starting his position as Field Experience Coordinator, in the School of Education, David served as the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources in the Yuba City Unified School District. While serving 31 years in local public schools, David has worked with dozens of beginning teachers and is passionate about sending out new educators for Christ.
David has been married 43 years to his wife, Julie, who has also served as a local elementary school teacher and amazing mother to their two daughters, Rebecca (28) and Tanya (20). The Bills’ family spends their spare time traveling to Tanya’s college soccer matches and listening to Rebecca sing in a local church.
