The Partnership of VOA Oregon and Multnomah Campus of Jessup University
Volunteers of America Oregon (VOA Oregon) will be using facilities at Jessup University’s Multnomah Campus for residential treatment for women with children. The partnership between VOA and Jessup University’s Multnomah Campus represents a unique and innovative collaboration that draws on the strengths of both institutions.
Multnomah Campus of Jessup University is committed to educating transformational leaders. This partnership offers student interns hands-on experience in a behavioral health setting, fostering educational growth and service opportunities while engaging in cultural transformation. Together, this collaboration exemplifies a shared dedication to behavioral and mental health and developing leaders who will impact society in a meaningful way.
VOA Oregon believes that everyone deserves to have access to health care, housing, and supportive services that they need in order to feel valued and hopeful, have a sense of belonging, and to reach their full potential. Residential treatment for women with children, will now take place on the Multnomah campus. These women will not only receive the treatment they need, which includes individual and group counseling, medication management, naturopathic health care and case management, but will have access to education, training and other resources through this unique partnership.
