
Jennifer Batt, M.S.
Biography:
Jennifer Batt is serving as the Phlebotomy Program Coordinator, supporting the development and delivery of the program. She is currently in progress of obtaining her Ph.D. in Health and Human Performance through Concordia University in Chicago (CUC). Jennifer Batt has 13 years of experience as a Criminalist for the California Department of Justice (Bureau of Forensic Services). She has 8 years of experience as a forensic toxicologist where she has performed analysis and qualified as an expert witness in criminal trials in over 17 counties throughout California, providing interpretation on the effects of drugs on human performance. She also has 7 years of experience as an adjunct professor at Jessup University where she taught in both Biology and Criminal Justice Departments. Prior to state service, Jennifer coordinated medical research studies and co-authored over 40 peer-reviewed articles with the Physical Therapy Doctoral Program at Azusa Pacific University. One of her passions is sharing her knowledge with her students and other professionals to support them in their current or future careers. She is very excited to take on this new role to create and maintain a new phlebotomy program at Jessup.
