Local Outreach
At Jessup, we are passionate about reaching our local community to meet both physical and spiritual needs. We have ongoing partnerships with ministries in the Greater Sacramento area that help to meet the immediate needs of the homeless population, serve refugees, provide aid to children and teens, and everything in between. All of our ongoing partnerships can be found here, as well as upcoming outreach events led by our own Jessup students.
Global Outreach
Jessup also has a heart for the nations and desires to see all people changed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ. To that end, we want to raise up, equip and send our students to the ends of the earth to engage unreached peoples with the Gospel. Our vision is to see every student missionally engaged in serving both locally and globally.
Every year we offer international service opportunities through our Global Outreach Program. Each Global Outreach team is made up of about 8-12 students and led by a Jessup staff or faculty member as they serve overseas for 2 weeks during the summer. Every team serves alongside one of our international partners who are committed to making Jesus known among the nations. Our partners work to fight against human trafficking, serve refugees and marginalized people groups, aid in community development in impoverished communities, and share the gospel with unreached people groups.
Serving on a Global Outreach Team can be a powerful and eye-opening experience for cross-cultural ministry. We encourage every student to prayerfully consider serving on at least one team during their time at Jessup.
