Webb Foundation grant funds, and provides nursing students with the ability to interact with high-risk newborns and children with acute conditions or specific childhood diseases. Nursing students are involved in specialized skills training with these high-fidelity mannequins under the supervision of expert faculty and simulation lab supervisors.

This equipment, in combination with highly-qualified clinical faculty, creates an exceptional learning environment to assist nursing students achieve their course learning outcomes and prepares them for success in the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) exam in the area of Pediatrics.

Following Del E. Webb’s legacy, the Foundation’s giving is defined by new ideas and innovative adaptations. Investing in results by committing to programs that create or enhance opportunities for permanent improvements, the Del E. Webb Foundation’s grant helps equip Jessup’s simulation lab, which is essential in preparing nursing students for their future careers.
