About the Project
The Court-Clergy Project supports outreach and research efforts of the Sacramento Court-Clergy Conference. At the Fifth Annual Court-Clergy Conference in October 2018, WJU President John Jackson moderated a panel entitled: “Building Bridges in Polarizing Times” in which he engaged in dialogue with two nationally-known experts in the fields of religious liberty and LGBTQ rights: Dr. Robin Wilson, co-author of “Religious Freedom, LGBTQ rights and the Prospects for Common Ground” and John Corvino, co-author of “Debating Religious Liberty and Discrimination.”
The Sacramento Court-Clergy Conference provided a unique opportunity for clergy and judges to interact and share perceptions on engaging topics that impact their professional and vocational lives. The Institute for Public Policy is proud to serve on the Court-Clergy Conference Steering Committee and support this important outreach and educational event.
