This position is temporary – 6 months. The Admissions Counselor functions as a sales professional within Jessup University with the specific purpose of achieving enrollment growth by recruiting well-matched and diverse prospective students. Recruitment of prospective students includes the ability to promote the unique benefits of a Jessup education to prospective students, their parents and other stakeholders including but not limited to high school counselors, community college counselors, church staff and the community at large. Specifically, the admissions counselor must have the ability to pursue the prospect as a trusted advisor who serves the student through the entire enrollment process – from a prospect to a registered student. Extensive knowledge and background in sales performance is strongly preferred along with general knowledge and work experience in higher education.

The Assistant Director of Events and Conference Services assists in the planning and execution of all events and conferences.

The Assistant Director of Orientation and Engagement will work in partnership to create, develop, and establish services and student-centered programming, ensuring strong student engagement and a sense of belonging within an inclusive and increasingly diverse campus community.

The Director of Admissions for the Traditional Undergraduate Admissions (TRAD) provides emotionally smart, innovative and strategic leadership for the TRAD Admissions team. The Director’s primary objective is to drive enrollment growth through the development of trust, buy-in and accountability in the TRAD admissions team. The Director will develop leaders who augment a
consultative sales performance culture and advance strategic enrollment initiatives that contribute to Jessup’s organizational health. Provides both strategic and day-to-day operational direction of the support staff in the areas of marketing, event management, visit coordination, data management and
student worker supervision.

The Donor Relations Manager is a key member of the Advancement team acknowledging, recognizing, engaging and stewarding various populations of the university constituent base. This position is directed by the Senior Director of University Advancement and assists in the planning, implementation and execution of systems that curate a positive donor experience, while creating pipelines of identification and qualification to our Major Gift Officers. This position will enhance society experiences and provide targeted engagement opportunities for donor groups who desire to engage with Jessup’s mission.

The Maintenance Technician I is an entry-level position in the Facilities Department with duties of maintenance, service, and repairs in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, machine servicing, electrical, and vehicle servicing. The Maintenance Tech I will execute work orders and complete general facilities cleaning and maintenance.

The Major Gifts Officer (MGO) is a member of the Advancement Team and is responsible for securing financial resources for William Jessup University. The primary focus is meeting and working with donors and prospects with significant giving capacity to accomplish their giving objectives in the form of leadership, major and planned gifts. The Major Gift Officer will engage in and be responsible for all aspects of the donor development cycle including donor identification, cultivation, solicitation, acknowledgment, church partnership and stewardship. This income-generating position reports directly to the Senior Director of Advancement, Strategic Giving under the strategic vision of the VP Resources, in collaboration with the internal stakeholders, Senior Director of University Advancement, Operations, Director of Church Relations and University President. Position requires ability to travel and occasionally includes evening and weekend responsibilities to be successful.

The Tech III is responsible for providing tier 3 technical assistance, management, installation support, and maintenance related to computer systems, hardware, and software. Responds to service requests, isolates problems, and determines and implements solutions. This position is responsible for ensuring an outstanding level of customer service by providing IT support to students, faculty and staff.

Athletics Positions

The purpose of the Head Coach – Men’s & Women’s Golf position is to develop Christ-centered excellence, to mentor and challenge student-athletes to grow spiritually (discipleship), academically, athletically, to provide opportunities for Christian service through the medium of golf and to be consistently competitive at the championship level. This position is responsible for initiating, developing and leading all aspects of the Men’s and Women’s Golf program, such as recruiting, scheduling opponents, individual training, and coaching team members. As part of the Student Success Leadership Team, the Dean of Students advances the University’s mission by providing leadership for assigned co-curricular programs, activities, and services that enhance the quality of campus life and promotes student development and engagement. MAJOR PURPOSE

This faculty position within the School of Theology & Leadership at William Jessup University is responsible for quality preparation and delivery of course material in the field of Leadership, as well as participation in the culture and initiatives of the School.

ROLE EXPECTATIONS
