Bio
I come from an education-oriented family: my father was a college professor for 35 years, my mother taught as an adjunct professor and my sister is a middle school teacher. In our family, Christmas morning looked like a book exchange! My main qualification as an educator is simply that I am curious. I like to learn. And I go through life trying to make sense. I find that I lead by teaching and I teach by leading. Off-campus, I love to hike and bike ride. Two of our three sons our now out of the home, but we meet up once a year to hike up Half Dome.
