ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The Ministry Certificate provides a foundation in both Scripture and leadership. It enables stakeholders without any formal ministry training to acquire fundamental skills essential to effective ministry. Students learn to identify the core elements of the biblical storyline and how to interpret Scripture. They also learn to lead themselves and others with greater confidence and competence. Those who complete the Certificate may continue their studies by applying their units toward the BA in Leadership degree program.

Upon completion of the Certificate in Ministry, students will be able to: 

  • Identify the core elements of the biblical storyline and interpret Scripture with foundational skills
  • Lead themselves and lead others with greater and competence

This Certificate is designed to equip people who want further ministry preparation, but do not want a degree.

  • The Certificate involves 5 courses.
  • Each course is taught by a professor with extensive ministry experience, a terminal academic degree, or both.
