As the senior member of the Faculty of Theology, Jim Crain (M. Div.) has the unique distinction of being on the staff and in the classroom of WJU since 1971. He is the recipient of Alumni Association’s Lifetime Achievement Award. His commentary on II Corinthians, entitled “Spiritual Integrity” is the first ever book published by Jessup Press. Professor Crain is the creator of Jessup’s cornerstone course, “Contemporary Discipleship,” and has also contributed other courses to the curriculum, like “Scripture and Pop Culture” and “New Testament Exposition.” As an ordained minister, he brings a pastor’s perspective to the Biblical Studies and Theology classes he teaches. Establishing rapport with students remains a top priority of his professorate.
