Transferability of William Jessup University Dual Credits

As a four-year liberal arts university accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC) and the Association of Biblical Higher Education (ABHE), William Jessup University dual credits transfer to most colleges and universities across the nation.

Because every institution varies on how they accept, or do not accept, dual credits, it is the responsibility of the student to contact universities prior to registering for William Jessup University Dual Credit courses so they gain an understanding of how credits may or may not transfer.

Make sure to contact your schools of interest prior to registering for dual credit courses so you understand how your credits will transfer.

Taking Dual Credit Classes at your High School

Students often learn about William Jessup University Dual Credit courses through their high school. Guidance counselors will know which courses are William Jessup University Dual Credit and which courses are not. When a student takes a William Jessup University Dual Credit course through their high school, they can choose to register to receive college credit.

To register for William Jessup University Dual Credit courses, students must complete the Dual Credit Student Registration Form. Students will need their social security number and a credit card in order to pay the $200 course fee.

Student Drop/Withdraw Process

A student may drop or withdraw from a course by returning to the Dual Credit Student Registration Form, and filling out the Drop/Withdrawal form. Drop/Withdraw forms can be mailed or faxed to William Jessup University. Tuition will be returned dependent on the date of withdrawal. Withdrawing after the deadline for registration will result in no refund and a grade of W.

Access to Student Resources

As a dual credit student at William Jessup University, you have access to helpful online resources through my.jessup and the William Jessup University’s online student portal. Through the student portal, you can view your class schedule and grades, and print your unofficial transcripts. With your registration for the dual credit course, you will also be given a Jessup email address and portal access.

November 1st Last day to submit an Application for Dual Credit High School
November 1st Last day to Drop a Dual Credit course with 100% refund of tuition
January 1st Last day to Drop a Dual Credit course; No tuition will be refunded and the grade on the transcript will be “W”, signifying ‘Withdrawal’

Eva brings 12+ years of experience in higher education and is currently involved with program development at Jessup. She provides assistance that ensures the current policy and processes which support the successful launch of new programs. Presently, she is working towards her master’s degree in human resource service management at Golden Gate University and holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Salem State University in Salem, Massachusetts.
